He has served as chairman of the DFI Helical Foundations and Tie-Backs Committee, Lead consultant in preparation of ICC-ES document AC358, author of changes to 2009 IBC to include helical piles, and was an expert retained by Mueser Rutledge to assist with New York City Building Code helical pile addendum. Dr. Perko also recently served as a member of the Geo-Coalition which authored and proposed over 60 revisions to the 2018 IBC

Ms. Hummel is the Engineering Manager at Magnum Geo-Solutions, LLC in Loveland, CO.  She has experience designing projects utilizing helical pile, push pile, and micropile foundations and helical anchor and soil nail walls. Her primary responsibilities include helping Magnum customers and other design firms with foundation and earth retention projects utilizing helical piles nationwide.  Some of her project experience includes design of machine foundations and equipment skids for mining and petro-chemical processing industries, excavation shoring, commercial foundation underpinning, and new commercial pile foundations.  She holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Architectural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with structural emphasis, from the University of Wyoming.  She is a member of AISC, SSSBA and SEAC.  Ms. Hummel is currently a registered professional engineer in 5 states.

Mr. Babcock is a Senior Engineer and Project Manager for Magnum Geo-Solutions, LLC in Loveland, CO. Steve holds professional engineering licenses in 13 states and provides engineering support for Magnum Piering’s product line, installation tools and custom assemblies. As Project Manager, Steve coordinates with clients and the engineering and manufacturing teams to complete various and complex projects in all markets.

Steve has been a practicing structural engineer since 2005 and has experience engineering industrial piperacks, equipment supports, refinery and processing installations as well as fossil and renewable power generation facilities. His expertise is in FEM analysis and structural steel design, connection design and detailed drawing production.

Mr. Babcock earned a Master and Bachelor degree in Civil engineering with emphasis in structural engineering at Colorado State University and is also a professional member of AISC and AWS.

Ms. Myers is a project engineer for Magnum Geo-Solutions, LLC in Loveland, CO. She earned her B.S. cum laude in Civil Engineering from Colorado State University. She regularly designs for projects utilizing helical piles, push piers and micropiles for underground and skid foundations in residential, commercial and oil & gas industries, as well as helical tie back anchors and soil nail retaining walls across the United States.
Ms. Myers is currently a member of ASCE and AISC and is currently a registered professional engineer in Colorado.

Ms. Vasquez is a staff engineer for Magnum Geo-Solutions, LLC in Loveland, CO. She earned her B.S degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Wyoming. Her primary responsibilities include helping with helical pile submittals and other deep foundation systems engineering as well as field work. Some of her projects have included new construction helical pile foundations for commercial and oil & gas projects across the United States.

Mr. Baumgartner is a Project Manager for Magnum Geo-Solutions, LLC in Loveland, CO. His primary responsibilities include working with Magnum customers on the design of various foundation and earth retention designs for commercial, residential, and oil and gas projects across the United States. His project experience includes new construction pile foundations, underpinning, excavation shoring, foundations for transmission lines, and equipment skids for commercial use. Kevin has extensive field experience on oil and gas sites, and is very knowledgeable about helical installations and load testing. Mr. Baumgartner earned his B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of New Mexico and is currently a member of ASCE and AISC.

Mr. Thompson is a structural engineer working out of the Magnum Geo-Solutions, LLC office in Loveland, CO.   Wayne has 25+ years of engineering experience in a variety of structural and geo-structural projects.  Those include infrastructure (concrete and steel structures for water storage, stormwater, retaining walls, bridges and culverts) along with “vertical” projects such as park amenity buildings, small commercial buildings, residential, and mining process facilities. 

Ms. Elizabeth Mattick is the Office Manager for Magnum Geo-Solutions, LLC. Ms. Mattick earned her BS in Accounting from the University of Northern Colorado. She has over 25 years in Office Experience with 15+ of those being in the construction industry. Ms. Mattick is a versatile and well-organized individual with excellent problem solving and team working skills. Primary responsibilities include Billing, AP/AR, Engineering Staff Assistance, and other office related functions.
